D.C. Temple Trip

We were finally able to make a trip to D.C. again last weekend to go to the temple. This time we met up with Jason's brother and his family. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins and it was so good to see them all!
There is a path from the temple that leads to this playground about a mile away. Along the way is this cool bridge that I had to get a picture of.

Puppy Graduation

Bailey graduated from her PetSmart puppy training class last week. Yes, I know, that's weird. We are weird. But Bailey and Jason had a blast, and now my dog can sit, stay, lay down, spin, shake, and do push-ups on command. Now to teach her to clean up after herself....

There is Sunshine in My Soul

Even Sophie is taking advantage of the beautiful sun that has finally come after a long, dark winter. Hopefully with the Spring comes some much needed healing for our family who has been going through very rough times.
Yes, we still have our Christmas wreath hanging in our window. Anyone want to come climb the 24' ladder to get it down?

Here's a cute picture of Melissa doing her new favorite thing--taking care of "her" baby. She can't stand to be away from Emily and takes such good care of her. This baby never cries for long!!
And of course I have to throw in a picture of my adorable 2 month-old! Stop growing so fast, kid!

Science Fair 2010

Once again, the girls wanted to participate in their school's annual science fair. I let them do their projects completely on their own because I have enough to do! I thought they did a fantastic job. Both girls did a tornado presentation and demonstration.

Ashley worked on hers with partner, Karleigh. They did the volcano project together last year, too.
Sara enjoyed looking at all the fun projects, but her favorite was definitely the homemade hovercraft. Very cool!

This One's For My Moms

I didn't leave her there long...just long enough to take the picture. You can quit having a heart attack now. I, for one, think they make an adorable pair.

I Turn My Back For a Second....

...and find that Sara has put sunglasses on my baby! What a kid. Emily really didn't seem to mind.

I also had to post this cute picture. Emily loves tummy time. She got comfortable enough this time to fall right to sleep.

Another One in Glasses

Our kids will likely all end up with glasses at some point in their life-- this time it's Rachel's turn. She used to squint ALL the time when watching t.v. Now the squints are gone! Doesn't she look great? She picked out her own pink frames.
