Christmas, A Birthday and Easter

It has been so long since I've posted, I've almost forgotten how.  It seems Facebook and Instagram have  taken over as the preferred way of documenting and sharing what's going on in our lives.  We had a pretty fun Christmas this year with some family visiting.

These pictures were taken after church, unfortunately.  Hair is no longer done up nicely.  And William was tired.

This is Jason getting his dream Lego Millennium Falcon.  He was one happy kid--I mean man.  Sitting next to him is his Grandmother who has since passed away.  We feel very blessed that she was able to spend her last Christmas with us!  I'm not sure she felt as blessed.  I think the noise from six children and their new toys must have made her crazy.
The mess.  I love my fireplace DVD.

Emily celebrated her third birthday not long after Christmas.  She loves her Cinderella crown.
Chocolate and a doll.  What more could a girl want?
Oh, yeah.  some ice cream cake.

Now it's time for Easter!  I really love this time of year.  Watching everything bud and come back to life is so exciting.  We had some fantastic weather on our Easter Sunday, too.  William had fallen asleep on the drive to the park, so waking him up to take pictures was not his favorite thing, and he let us know that.  I promise, he is typically a very happy boy.

Taking a good picture of six kids is impossible.  It just is.  This is the best it gets.  Sara cracks me up!
