Who's Who?

I cut Rachel's hair because it was soooo hard to manage. No 5 year-old should have long hair. So now, this is what she looks like. Apparently I cut off all of her blonde. Now I can't tell the difference between her and Melissa!

And I had to throw in this picture for the benefit of my perpetually bored sister, Jeny (maybe it's time for a new job?). Is this kid cute, or what???

Making Valentines

What a lot of work! The girls got all of their Valentines for school done early because I knew it was going to be a huge project. Choosing which conversation hearts to give each classmate was, of course, a very serious decision and took lots of time, but we had fun!

The Eye

I was just playing around with our new pocket sized camera and got this cool picture of Rachel's eye. That's as blue as it gets!

An Addition

Jason and I are big suckers for dogs, as most of you know. We have been looking for a dog like the one we had in Utah and finally found her! This is Molly, a Golden Retriever/Lab mix that we adopted from the SPCA yesterday. She's nine years old and very well behaved. She and Sophie are getting along great. In this photo she is staring at our parakeets. She's fascinated by them. We are very happy with our new addition even though many of you, I'm sure, think we've lost our minds. Dogs rule!!

Just Something to Post

It has been a wonderfully slow month! For lack of anything else to post, Melanie says I should post a picture of Sara playing Play-Doh, since that has been my life every day since Christmas.

So here she is with a little person I cut out for her. She calls it "weepeep". No idea what that means. She loves it, rocks it, and sings to it. Then she rips it apart little peices at a time.

And this is just a cute picture of her falling asleep on her little Dora couch last night. Good thing she was already in pajamas.

Parkinson New Years Celebration

We were lucky to have our great friends, the Jorgensens, come and stay with us for a few days to celebrate the new year. It snowed about an inch in 30 minutes on New Year's Eve.
And of course, we played LOTS of Settler's of Catan. I think I won the most.
Jason decided it would be fun to do sparklers with the kids. It was so cold outside that everyone did their sparklers as fast as they could so that they could get back inside.

Fondue!!

The kids kept busy with the Playstation while we were playing Settlers. I think Ashley stayed in her pajamas the whole time the Jorgensens were visiting.
